Taiwan earthquake: Buildings tilt on the sides.

This morning we all woke up to the scary news of earthquake in eastern coast of Taiwan At least six tall buildings were left tilting on their sides

According to a news:

“The safety of the building was called into question immediately after the disaster, when metal cans and foam were found to have been used as fillers”.

Let’s take a pledge not to mess with the safety of our lives, since the houses we live in and  the offices we work in are the places where most of the time of our lives is spent, so we need to be conscious of the safety of our buildings.

Buildings are majorly affected during the earthquake which leads to the major loss of life.

SO before starting the construction, the load bearing capacity should be checked and then structure should be designed accordingly.

After scrutinizing the land  AAC blocks should be used in construction instead of traditional bricks which lower down the weight of the building by 50%. Thus leading to much lesser damage to the buildings

The light weight of AEROTUFF AAC blocks reduces the mass of a structure, thus decreasing the impact of an earthquake on the building and hence offering enhanced safety against calamities like earthquakes, hurricanes, etc. As compared to structures built with heavy red clay bricks, fly ash bricks or concrete blocks.
